The Shema hour
Jesus is Lord
Block one hour with no screen and one text — Deuteronomy 6. Read it until a zone of your life surfaces that has been exempted.
Practices
Nine embodied practices lifted straight out of the courses. Each one names the necessity it serves, the time it takes, and a first step specific enough that someone could ask whether you took it.
Jesus is Lord

mDNA
List everything your community spends money and energy maintaining. Put a cross next to what would not be missed.
Incarnational impulse
Go to the place you are sent with no agenda and nothing to organise. Notice who is already there.
Disciple-making
Ask one person to meet weekly around Wesley’s question. Build a pair, not a programme.
Organic systems
Take one practice and strip it until an untrained person with no budget could lead it. Then let them.
Communitas
With two others, name one thing you could attempt together that would fail without God. Date it.
APEST
With your team, name who has been marginalised because their gifting had no place in your structure.
Reframation
Walk without a podcast. Let one thing be larger than your explanation of it, and stay there.
Apostolic environment
Name one structure that suppresses an element of mDNA. Change it inside ninety days and tell someone the date.
On their own these are good habits. Held inside a course — with dissonance before them and honest debrief after — they become formation.
